2 karaoke bar employees who killed someone in Hai Phong and fled to Dak Lak were arrested

On the evening of October 22, a leader of the Criminal Police Department - Dak Lak Provincial Police said that they were completing procedures to hand over two murder suspects, Le Van Khanh (born 1990) and Tran Viet Trung (born 1988) - both residing in Ngo Quyen District, Hai Phong City - to Hai Phong City Police for investigation according to their authority.

Dak Lak Provincial Police arrested two murder suspects.

Previously, at around 7:40 a.m. the same day, the Traffic Police Department - Dak Lak Provincial Police received a report from the Investigation Police Agency of Le Chan District Police, Hai Phong City requesting coordination to arrest two murder suspects that occurred on October 21.

Upon receiving the report, the Traffic Police Department - Dak Lak Provincial Police deployed 3 working teams consisting of 15 officers and soldiers to coordinate with Ea H'Leo District Police, Dak Lak Province to organize the arrest.

At around 8:45 a.m. the same day, the task force received information that the two subjects were hiding in a passenger bus with license plate 18F-005.XX traveling from Gia Lai province to Dak Lak province. Afterwards, the police force arrested Khanh and Trung.

Le Van Khanh and Tran Viet Trung were arrested while on the run.

Previously, on the evening of October 20, a group of young men including Hoang Ngoc T. (born in 1995, from Nghe An province) and 4 others drank alcohol and then went to sing at a karaoke bar on Kenh Duong street, Hai Phong city.

At around 3:30 a.m. on October 21, when Mr. T's group paid, a fight broke out with the restaurant's employees, Le Van Khanh and Tran Viet Trung.

At this time, Khanh used a knife to chase and beat T.'s group, causing his death; Nguyen Duc T. (born in 1994, from Ha Tinh province) and Nguyen Van T. (born in 1998, from Phu Tho province) were injured and were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.

After committing the crime, Trung and Khanh took a bus to Dak Lak and were arrested.
