Training conference to improve capacity for staff working in propaganda on poverty reduction

On July 30, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a conference to train knowledge and skills to improve the capacity of Youth Union officials working on propaganda work on poverty reduction in Lao Cai province.

Comrade Trieu Tri Loc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, delivered the opening speech at the Conference.

The conference was attended by 300 delegates who were Union officials, reporters, social opinion collaborators of the Union and members of young theory clubs in the province.

At the training conference, trainees were exposed to and equipped with in-depth knowledge through 4 key topics, including: Current status of economic - cultural - social development in difficult areas; Results of implementing the National Target Program on sustainable poverty reduction for the period 2021 - 2025; Strategy for developing the grassroots information sector to serve poverty reduction work and Skills for communicating sustainable poverty reduction policies on cyberspace.

Comrade Dinh Xuan Thang, former Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, taught at the training session.

Through training content, Youth Union cadres are able to improve their comprehensive capacity in propaganda work, thereby contributing to innovating communication methods and promoting the effectiveness of activities at the grassroots level.

In addition, the Conference is also an opportunity to develop innovative and creative thinking, and enhance the ability to integrate sustainable poverty reduction into the work of the Youth Union and youth movements in the locality.
