On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (A80), Hanoi organizes many special tours for tourists to enjoy the joyful atmosphere of Independence Day.

This year's 2.9 National Day holiday lasts 4 days (29.8 - 3.9), giving tourists plenty of time to plan their entertainment during the A80th anniversary. The capital city of Hanoi is expected to welcome visitors not only for the holiday as usual but also to join in the atmosphere of the 80th anniversary of National Day on 2.9.

Here are some suggested day experiences for locals and visitors in Hanoi:

Morning

6:30 - 10:00:   Watch the parade taking place from 6:30 - 10:00 on September 2 at Ba Dinh Square, the event gathers 43 armed forces, militia, and masses along with tanks, tracked vehicles, and tire vehicles.

10am - 12pm: Stroll around the streets and take photos of "Hanoi Independence Day" near Uncle Ho's Mausoleum or places covered in the red color of the national flag such as the intersection of Hang Ma - Hang Luoc, Ly Nam De, lane 150 Yen Phu, Vong Ha, 823 Hong Ha, 25 Phan Dinh Phung, 477 Kim Ma, Kham Thien Market lane...

In addition to the alleys, many coffee shops also decorate with flags and flowers for Independence Day.

From September 1 to 3, museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of History, and the Ho Chi Minh Museum will open free of charge to serve people and tourists coming to Hanoi on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2.

The train takes visitors through Hanoi - Long Bien - Gia Lam - Yen Vien - Tu Son stations, serving the needs of sightseeing, taking photos, and organizing traditional art performances such as Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru, Cheo singing, Xam singing...

19:30: Join the Hanoi night tours. Ngoc Son Night Tour - Mysterious Night takes place on weekend nights such as Saturday and Sunday, so check the ticket information in advance. Visitors can admire the magical night beauty of Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, The Huc Bridge through scenes such as King Le returning the sword to the golden turtle, the peace-praying ceremony, the holy writing ceremony...

9:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.: 3D Mapping Light Show at August Revolution Square and Hoan Kiem Lake (August 29 and 30). The show takes place from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on August 29 with the theme "Thang Long Convergence" and on August 30 with the theme "Hanoi Sounds".

At 9 p.m. on September 2, Hanoi will organize five high-altitude fireworks displays at Hoan Kiem Lake, Thong Nhat Park, Van Quan Lake, West Lake and My Dinh National Stadium.

22:00 - 23:00: Enjoy draft beer on Ta Hien - Luong Ngoc Quyen Western Street with street food such as fried sour spring rolls, chicken feet, dried beef salad...
