The Party Committee of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province was established according to Decision No. 09-QD/TU, dated July 3, 2025, of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.
The Party Committee was formed by merging 172 grassroots Party organizations with 10,933 Party members from the Party Committees of the People's Committees of 3 provinces: Binh Thuan , Dak Nong, and Lam Dong (formerly). and 2 grassroots Party committees (Da Lat University, Nuclear Research Institute) directly under the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee.

Following the reorganization of the province's administrative agencies and public service units, the grassroots Party organizations have been reorganized and strengthened accordingly.
Currently, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has 66 grassroots party organizations (48 grassroots party committees and 18 grassroots party branches) with 12,454 party members; and one affiliated mass organization, the Youth Union of the Provincial People's Committee.

The merger of the three provinces has created a larger, stronger economic and administrative entity, fully encompassing the potential and strengths of a province with borders, coastlines, forests, and islands.
With the largest natural area in the country, Lam Dong has been blessed by nature with many legendary scenic spots and unique architectural works that are famous and representative of the world.

These advantages will open up a historic opportunity to comprehensively restructure the regional development model; redistributing population, infrastructure, and investment resources according to a new strategic direction.
This has created unprecedented potential, resources, and opportunities for Lam Dong province to make breakthroughs in development and move steadily forward in the new era of the nation.

Despite being the largest province in the country by area, Lam Dong's geographical space is fragmented by complex terrain, stretching from the highlands to the coastal region, and encompassing both land borders and sea and islands.
While this characteristic opens up many potentials, it also presents significant challenges, making planning, management, and seamless connectivity between different regions within the province difficult.

The connectivity infrastructure, especially transportation and information infrastructure, is still weak in some regions and does not meet development requirements.
Some planning still overlaps, is inadequate, and lacks coordination. Efforts to remove obstacles for businesses and attract strategic investors with strong financial capabilities and reputation have not yielded significant results.

Furthermore, issues such as climate change and natural disasters like droughts, freshwater shortages in some coastal areas, or extreme weather events in the highlands, remain constant challenges requiring close guidance and fundamental, long-term solutions.
From a social perspective, the poverty rate and living conditions of a segment of the population remain challenging, especially in remote areas and regions inhabited by ethnic minorities.

However, recognizing its role and responsibilities in the new phase, immediately after the decision to establish it, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee focused on leading and directing the reorganization of the organizational structure, Party committees, and inspection committees. It promptly established advisory and support agencies for the Party Committee; advised the Provincial Party Standing Committee to issue the Working Regulations of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee; and simultaneously issued the Working Regulations of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee and its work program.

The work of consolidating, strengthening, and establishing new grassroots Party organizations, especially in departments and agencies that have been reorganized according to the general policies of the Central Committee and the province, has been carried out promptly and in accordance with regulations, without interrupting the implementation of the political tasks of the agencies and units.

Although its official operational period has not been long, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee has promptly grasped the situation, concretized the policies and resolutions of the Provincial Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; focused on leading and directing key areas of work, achieving important initial results: Leaders are responsible for implementing socio-economic development tasks and ensuring national defense and security; leading the work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system ; and leading the acceleration of administrative reform associated with digital transformation and innovation…
