The 25th International Seafood Exhibition (Vietfish) was organized by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).
Accordingly, Vietfish 2024 Exhibition is considered the largest and most prestigious annual event in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, marking the 25-year journey of accompanying and developing the Vietnamese seafood industry. This year's event attracted more than 280 exhibitors and 496 booths from Vietnam and 15 countries.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Phung Duc Tien said that Vietnam currently has hundreds of seafood products exported to many countries around the world. Of which, frozen seafood, fresh seafood, canned goods, dried goods, and fish sauce are considered the main export items. "Through this exhibition, we will not only create conditions for trade promotion for seafood enterprises but also affirm the quality and position of Vietnamese seafood in the international market," Deputy Minister Phung Duc Tien emphasized.
After many years of accompanying Vietnamese seafood enterprises, Vietfish exhibition is considered a pioneering event leading the trend, creating conditions for seafood enterprises to connect, learn, promote trade in the industry, creating sustainable value connections.
From there, businesses have the opportunity to promote domestic and foreign markets, seek more partners, suppliers, services, products as well as update the latest achievements and research of each stage in the industry.
At the event, many trading activities, signing of contracts for purchasing and supplying aquatic products, and strategic cooperation in the field of aquaculture and seafood processing took place. In particular, this year, there was the participation of many international seafood suppliers such as: the US with its famous Alaska salmon products, along with wild-caught seafood products from Indonesia, India, Russia, Japan, China...
Coming to the exhibition, visitors can also experience beautiful and attractive culinary performances by professional chefs in the "Cooking show - try delicious seafood" area.
Up to now, Vietnamese seafood has been exported to more than 170 countries and territories. Vietnamese seafood products are available on supermarket shelves around the world . Among them are the most modern and prestigious supermarket systems in the world such as the US, UK, Europe, Canada, Japan, China...
In 2024, the theme of the 25th Vietfish exhibition is "Exported seafood for Vietnamese people". Through this, the program's Organizing Committee wants to ambitiously bring exported products around the world back to the domestic market, contributing to the rapid growth of Vietnam's potential F&B industry.
The International Seafood Exhibition (Vietfish) promises to be an effective promotional channel, contributing more nutritious and convenient food options to Vietnamese family meals, meeting the diverse culinary needs of the young generation of Vietnam.
According to the organizers, in order to meet the needs of exhibiting and promoting businesses in the seafood supply chain, this year's event also expanded the exhibition space, with an area from 10,000 m2 to 14,000 m2 .
The International Seafood Exhibition (Vietfish) will be open to visitors from 9am to 5pm every day from August 21-23, 2024, and is expected to attract 17,000 visitors.
