On March 25, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha signed a document assigning the target of completing social housing in 2025 to localities, departments and branches.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to preside over and advise the Provincial People's Committee to complete procedures for selecting investors for 7 projects that have been approved for investment policies but have not yet selected investors. The Department of Construction completed procedures for design appraisal and construction licensing for 11 social housing projects that have had investment policies. The Department of Agriculture and Environment completed procedures for land allocation for 11 projects that have had investment policies.
For the People's Committees of districts and cities, the Provincial People's Committee assigned that this year they must start construction of more than 9,800 social housing units, of which at least more than 3,000 units must be completed.
Specifically, Bien Hoa city started and completed more than 1,700 houses in 3 projects of: Chuong Duong Homeland Joint Stock Company in Long Binh Tan ward, An Hung Phat Joint Stock Company in Phuoc Tan ward and Dong Thuan Investment Joint Stock Company in Phuoc Tan ward.
Long Khanh City started and completed 426 units at the Bao Vinh Ward Social Housing Project of Thanh Thang Design and Construction Consulting Co., Ltd.
Nhon Trach District started construction of 4,676 apartments in two projects: Phuoc Truong Hung Housing Development Company Limited in Phuoc An Commune and Kim Oanh Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company in Phu Hoi Commune.
Long Thanh district started construction of 1,883 units, of which 722 units were completed at 2 projects: Industrial Urban Development Joint Stock Company No. 2 (D2D) in Loc An commune and Long Thanh Riverside Joint Stock Company in Long Thanh town.
Trang Bom district started construction of 1,125 apartments, of which 98 apartments were completed at 2 projects of: Thong Nhat Joint Stock Company and Kim Oanh Real Estate Group Joint Stock Company, both projects are in Trang Bom town.

During the implementation process, if there are any difficulties or problems, the departments, branches, localities and enterprises shall promptly synthesize and report to the Department of Construction for synthesis, consultation and proposal to the Provincial People's Committee to continue directing implementation according to regulations.
Previously, at the end of February 2025, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 444/QD-TTg assigning targets for completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 for localities to add to their socio-economic development targets. In this decision, the Prime Minister assigned Dong Nai to complete 20.8 thousand social housing units in the 2025-2030 period, and about 2.6 thousand units in 2025 alone.
