Vietnam Airlines announced that it began testing its in-flight internet connectivity service on August 5th.
On international routes, the airline will offer three data packages for passengers to choose from depending on their needs. These are a messaging package at $5, and two web browsing packages at $10 per hour and $20 for unlimited data throughout the flight.
For domestic flights, the payment system is still under development, and Vietnam Airlines says it will launch the service as soon as it is standardized in the Vietnamese market.

From now until the end of December, Vietnam Airlines will deploy this service on Airbus A350 aircraft that have been equipped with satellite internet connectivity. In the future, the airline will continue to expand the provision of internet services on other aircraft models.
