In the latest announcement, the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) announced the decision to convert stocks from restricted trading to suspended trading from September 18 for 5 stocks including: HPX of Hai Phat Investment Joint Stock Company, IBC of Apax Holdings Investment Joint Stock Company, TGG of The Golden Group Joint Stock Company, AGM of An Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company and TTB of Tien Bo Group Joint Stock Company.
These stocks are restricted by HOSE and can only be traded in the afternoon session.
The reason is that these enterprises continue to violate regulations on information disclosure on the stock market after being placed on restricted trading list, which is a case of securities being suspended from trading.
After HoSE announced that it would suspend trading, this afternoon, these codes immediately recorded strong selling pressure, leading to a dramatic drop in price. For example, HPX fell 6.91% to 6,330 VND/share, with over 86 million units remaining for sale at the floor price; IBC fell 6.81% to 2,190 VND/share and had 12.6 million shares remaining for sale at the floor price; AGM also had over 2.7 million shares sold at the floor price, TGG over 1.8 million shares.
