Forecasts indicate that over the next 48-72 hours, the tropical depression will move in a west-northwest direction at a speed of 20 km per hour and has the potential to intensify.
The tropical depression will not directly affect the weather in Dong Nai province. The weather in the province will be partly cloudy, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, some areas experiencing moderate rain, and localized heavy rain. During thunderstorms, be wary of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
According to the Southern Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Station, due to the influence of a tropical depression, the sea area from Lam Dong to Ca Mau (including the sea area of Ho Chi Minh City) is forecast to experience southwest winds of force 4-5, occasionally force 6 in the north, with gusts of force 7-8. Wave height will be 1-3m, with slightly rough seas. The weather in these sea areas will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; during thunderstorms, be wary of tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind.
