The authorities handled 8,870 cases; temporarily detained 40 cars, 2,415 motorbikes, 81 other vehicles; revoked 649 driving licenses of all kinds, deducted points from 874 driving license cases; of which 1,909 cases were handled for alcohol concentration violations, 2,222 cases for speeding violations, 40 cases for overloading... Traffic congestion, security and order were ensured, no prolonged traffic jams occurred.

In Hanoi , from the afternoon of January 24, traffic volume increased, many routes were congested due to overload of vehicles moving out of Hanoi such as: Ring Road 3, Ring Road 2 and some main routes through the city; on National Highway 5, Co Linh, Nguyen Van Cu, Chuong Duong Bridge, Vinh Tuy Bridge, Nguyen Khoi embankment... traffic volume was high, vehicles moved slowly, no congestion occurred.

In Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring localities: On the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong - My Thuan expressways, traffic volume increased, vehicles were crowded, moving slowly, and there were no traffic jams.
