Right after exercising in the park, Ms. Chu Thi Hon, 75 years old, in Tran Bien ward and many friends of the same age gathered to watch the live broadcast of the ceremony. Excitement and pride were the common emotions recorded from the people present here. Ms. Hon was born in Dong Anh, Hanoi capital but chose to live in Dong Nai province for many years.
"Over the past few days, my children, grandchildren and many friends have been closely following information related to Independence Day. I am extremely proud of the country's growth. Our country has made remarkable progress; the people are prosperous, happy and no matter what they do or where they are, everyone believes in and unites under the leadership of the Party, bringing the country into a new era of development," Ms. Hon shared.
To recall the time of participating in the revolution, a group of veterans from Di An ward, Ho Chi Minh City, after watching the live broadcast of the anniversary, went to the Provincial Museum (in the Square Park) to see the display and exhibition of images of the achievements of the country and Dong Nai province.
Mr. Bui Van Muon recalled that when he participated in the resistance war, he and his comrades were assigned to the tank and artillery formation, so the artifacts on display at the Dong Nai Provincial Museum reminded him of the comradeship and comradeship of the past, and he himself always tried to contribute a small part to passing on the spirit of patriotism to today's generation.
“The country is independent, witnessing the development and growth over the past 80 years, the meaning of peace is even more evident. A beautiful country, beautiful peace must be exchanged for the sacrifice of many generations. Witnessing the ceremony on live television, witnessing the development of the country, we are assured that today's generation has worthily inherited the tradition of our ancestors" - Mr. Muon said emotionally.
Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Nai province Le Thi Ngoc Loan said: To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, Dong Nai province organized 3 points with 3 large screens to broadcast the celebration live. After the live ceremony, people will enjoy art performances and watch fireworks on the evening of September 2.
Coming from Binh Minh commune, the Starfish Club with 21 members, all of whom are workers from Bau Xeo and Song May industrial parks, spent the entire holiday visiting the Square Park, visiting exhibits at the Provincial Museum and recording beautiful moments of Independence Day.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy, Chairwoman of the Starfish Club, shared: “So proud of Vietnam! The achievements of the country and the development of the province today are the answer and clear affirmation that generations of Vietnamese people have worthily inherited the sacrifices of their ancestors. We have absolute confidence in the leadership of the Party so that the whole people can unite and complete the new development goals of the country.”
* In Binh Phuoc ward, to help people living in the ward and surrounding areas watch the entire celebration, parade, and march, the ward government has arranged a 300-inch screen at the Provincial Cultural - Cinema Center, located in the ward.
According to records, from early morning, hundreds of people were present here to watch the celebration, parade, and march broadcast live from Ba Dinh Square.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hue (in Thuan Loi commune, nearly 20km from the venue) arrived very early to watch the entire ceremony. Ms. Hue said: "I woke up very early, came here to choose the best spot to watch the celebration, parade, and march. I am very proud to be a citizen of Vietnam, a country that fought steadfastly for independence and freedom."
Huynh Thi Hoai Thuong and about 40 students from Nguyen Du High School also arrived very early to watch the ceremony. Hoai Thuong emotionally said: "As the young generation, we are very proud of Vietnam's history, a history that was built from the sacrifices of many generations of our ancestors so that we can live in peace and freedom today. We promise to study hard to contribute to building an increasingly beautiful country in the future."
In many families, the televisions are also turned on on time so that all members can gather together to watch all the activities of the celebration, parade, and procession.
Mr. Bui Van Ngoc, a veteran in Phu Thanh neighborhood, Binh Phuoc ward, and more than 10 friends and children watched the anniversary, parade, and march on TV at home. Mr. Ngoc said: "We have been looking forward to this ceremony for many days. I turned on the TV at 6 am and invited my friends to watch. Witnessing the grand ceremony, I was moved and proud of the forces and equipment of the Vietnam People's Army, which are contributing to preserving and protecting the country in all circumstances. Because peace and independence are extremely precious, and the previous generations shed so much blood and bones to obtain them!"
Everywhere in the province, millions of hearts beat in unison on the joyous day of the great celebration. All turned towards the historic Ba Dinh Square, all remembered the words of President Ho Chi Minh and the immortal Declaration of Independence. In each person's eyes, they expressed absolute trust in the leadership of the Party, uniting together to bring the country into a new era.
