6 teams compete to wrap Chung cakes to offer to the Saint at the Ca Temple festival

The contest of wrapping and cooking banh chung to offer to the Saints at the festival of Ca Temple - Dinh Do Quan Hoang Muoi (Hong Linh Town, Ha Tinh ) aims to show gratitude to the Saints and ancestors who have contributed to the country, for national peace and prosperity.

As part of the Ca Temple Festival - Dinh Do Quan Hoang Muoi in 2023, on the morning of November 20, the Hong Linh Town Farmers' Association organized a contest to wrap and cook banh chung to offer to the Saint.

The contest was attended by 120 members from farmers' associations of 6 wards and communes in Hong Linh town.

Within 120 minutes, each team must complete a package of 200 banh chung.

The ingredients for making banh chung are selected by the teams to ensure food hygiene and safety.

After wrapping, the banh chung is cooked by the teams for 8 hours.

After judging, the winning banh chung will be displayed and offered to the Saint at the Ca Temple - Dinh Do Quan Hoang Muoi.
