In the first 6 months of the year, Hiep Duc District Party Committee focused on leading and directing the implementation of all aspects of work and achieved many results. The total value of agricultural, forestry and fishery production is estimated at 287 billion VND, reaching 51% of the resolution. Difficulties in project site clearance; especially compensation and site clearance for the project to renovate and upgrade National Highway 14E through the district were focused on. The locality has approved 29 compensation plans for 1,034 households and has handed over 87% of the site to the construction unit.

Total state budget revenue reached over 515 billion VND, reaching 100% of the estimate assigned by the province; of which economic revenue was nearly 47.18 billion VND, reaching 45%. Three national target programs were implemented synchronously; an average of 14.3 new rural criteria/commune was achieved. The whole district sent 24 workers to work abroad under contract.

In the first 6 months of the year, 37 party members were admitted, reaching 74% of the resolution; of which 11 party members were students. The locality conducted 8 inspections and supervisions of 8 party organizations and 15 party members. The entire district party committee had 7 party members subject to disciplinary action.
