73 students experience a day as an IT staff at MB Bank

73 students from Hanoi University of Science and Technology had the opportunity to experience a day as IT staff at MB Bank when participating in the MB Company Tour program.

Hanoi University of Science and Technology students receive scholarships from MB at the ceremony

MB Company Tour was held on February 16, 2023 at MB Group's headquarters. The program is within the framework of cooperation between MB Bank and Hanoi University of Science and Technology. Attending the program, 13 valedictorians who are new students of the School of Information and Communication Technology - Hanoi University of Science and Technology (SOICT) and 60 students majoring in Business Analysis, Institute of Economics and Management, Hanoi University of Science and Technology had their first visit to the workspace at MB's headquarters (MB Tower) and talked with MB's IT staff. According to the group's representative, MB Group currently has more than 2,000 employees working in the field of technology and digitalization. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc - Member of the Executive Board, Director of Information Technology of MB Group said at the program: "Young talents of Vietnam can completely compete with the world. However, to achieve that dream, IT engineers need to be approached and trained early to solve big problems, and at the same time be provided with resources that can only be obtained from businesses". Mr. Hoc also wants to eliminate old prejudices about technology teams in the banking sector. He affirmed that current activities are no longer limited to system administration, but young talents can also participate in highly complex projects, with modern platforms when working at digital enterprises and leading financial groups such as MB Group.

Representative of the School of Information Technology & Communications, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung especially emphasized the role of corporations in posing major technology problems. Vice Principal of SOICT also pointed out the urgent need to orient students on technology professions in the field of finance - banking. Also at the event, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoc and Ms. Do Thi Quynh - Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources and Organization (MB) represented the bank to award scholarships worth 130 million VND to 13 new valedictorians of the School of Information Technology & Communications, including 3 students who won international Olympic medals, 4 national excellent students and 6 valedictorians of the university entrance exam. Immediately after the scholarship awarding ceremony, the Talkshow - MB Let's talk talent: BA in MB took place with the participation of MB experts. The Talkshow shared updated information and in-depth perspectives on the current "BA profession".
