At the graduation ceremony on August 27, Trinh Thuy Linh received a certificate of merit from the leaders of the National Economics University and the International Training Institute for her excellent academic achievements. She was also awarded a scholarship from the IMD@NEU International Master's Program in cooperation between the National Economics University and the University of the West of England, UK.
Speaking to a reporter from the People's Representative Newspaper , runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh said she was very honored and proud of this achievement.
She did not expect or set any expectations to become Valedictorian, because she knew that her job was quite busy, completing her studies was difficult, and completing her studies excellently was even more pressure. Instead, she just tried to complete her assignments as best as possible and achieve the scores she expected.
“There were days when I felt a lot of pressure balancing work and school. But four years passed very quickly and I felt very surprised and honored to become the new valedictorian,” Linh said.
Nearly 2 years since becoming Miss Vietnam runner-up, many people commented that Trinh Thuy Linh is quite secretive and rarely participates in showbiz activities compared to many other beauties.
“This statement is partly true, because my study schedule is very busy, so I have devoted all my time to studying. However, I still participate in some events and community activities, not absent altogether. I feel very proud that during such a quiet period, I have achieved certain results,” Linh shared.
Sharing her study secrets, Trinh Thuy Linh confided that she determined that the knowledge taught by teachers in class is extremely important. Therefore, every time she goes to school, she always tries to concentrate as much as possible, absorb as much knowledge as possible and review it again when she gets home. This helps Linh not to be overwhelmed with too many deadlines at the end of the semester.
Besides, she often takes advantage of her free time, anywhere, anytime to complete her homework.
According to runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh, the years studying at the IBDNEU International Bachelor Program at the National Economics University have brought her many things.
She studied in an international environment and made many friends. In particular, Linh always received support, care and encouragement from teachers to complete her studies and graduate on time.
“The past 4 years of studying are a time that I cherish very much, because they have completely changed me, as well as helped me become more confident, becoming a different version of myself,” Trinh Thuy Linh said.
Regarding her plans after graduating from university, runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh said she will focus more on her work, especially social activities. At this time, the runner-up has no intention of pursuing graduate studies right away, but may do so in the near future.
“I am in the final months of my term and I want to complete my term well. I also hope to have more social and charity activities so that my term will have more impressions,” Trinh Thuy Linh shared.
Runner-up Trinh Thuy Linh was born in 2002, from Thanh Hoa . She was a student at Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa City and was commented by teachers to be an excellent student in all subjects, being an excellent student for 3 consecutive years.
Trinh Thuy Linh became the 1st Runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2022 while she was a 3rd year student, majoring in Business and Marketing, International Training Institute - IBD@NEU International Bachelor Program at National Economics University.
The runner-up is said to have a gentle personality, enthusiastically participating in union activities, school movements, especially social activities and charity donations.
In addition to her impressive education, the beauty also has talents in dancing and painting. Trinh Thuy Linh also participates in many extracurricular activities. Notably, a community project she co-founded called "LLPoa", an abbreviation of L - always, L - listen and Poa - Piece of advice. She hopes that this project will help participants listen and give advice to others.
Trinh Thuy Linh has appeared many times as a speaker at student exchange events, as a speaker at TEDxNEU... She impresses with her intelligent and modern way of thinking.
