Nguyen Thi Hong Trang is the excellent beauty who won the second runner-up position in the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2023 contest held on June 26.

Hong Trang was born on September 19, 1999, originally from Dak Lak, she currently lives and works in Hanoi. Hong Trang studied at the Faculty of Tourism, Hanoi University of Culture. She was once known to many young people in Hanoi as a photo model, freelance actress and Chinese interpreter.

At the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2023 contest, Hong Trang impressed with her sweet, pure beauty, slim, charming figure, and good catwalk and behavior skills. It is known that before that, Hong Trang had the chance to be a model for a music company in Ho Chi Minh City specializing in ao dai, ao ba ba and traditional costumes.

Sharing her feelings after winning the 2nd runner-up title of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2023, and also receiving the additional award of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2023, Hong Trang said: “I am really happy and surprised to win 2 titles at the same time at the contest. But at the same time, I also feel a bit pressured because I have to try my best to fulfill my mission well, worthy of the title given.”

Hong Trang revealed that her childhood dream was to participate in a beauty contest so that more people would know her. Previously, the Dak Lak beauty wanted to register for beauty contests but was busy with her studies and work so she could not participate. With this contest, she was supported by her friends and relatives so she decided to register to participate.

Hong Trang shared: “Vietnamese Ao Dai is a characteristic of Vietnamese women, honoring the value and beauty of Vietnamese women to international friends. Since I was a child, I have loved watching my grandmothers, mothers, and sisters wearing Ao Dai and wanted to wear the traditional dress.

Becoming the 2nd Runner-up of Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2023, I will successfully complete the task of widely promoting the image of Vietnamese Ao Dai to domestic and international friends, and at the same time spreading positive things to everyone."

Hong Trang's versatile everyday fashion sense

With a height of 1m68 and measurements of 84-62-90cm, Hong Trang's standard body shape makes her suitable for all outfits. Therefore, she is not afraid to transform into many different fashion styles, sometimes strong and individual, sometimes feminine and gentle.

Hong Trang said: “I think fashion was born to serve people, so I don’t necessarily have to follow it. I also often change my style to find out which style suits me best. And my priority is always elegance, femininity and gentleness.”

In the summer, Hong Trang prefers to wear simple, youthful, and comfortable outfits. “To dress beautifully, everyone should understand their body and their own strengths and weaknesses. We cannot change our weaknesses, but we can use them as a goal to make smart choices when mixing and matching clothes. And more importantly, we must be confident when wearing clothes so that the outfit will enhance the beauty of each person’s body,” Hong Trang revealed.

Hong Trang: "I am introverted but not unapproachable"

Hong Trang admits that she is an introvert. However, when she goes out, people always comment that she is cheerful, sociable, and not as difficult to approach as her appearance.

The Dak Lak beauty has a hobby of traveling alone. Hong Trang shared that usually when she is stressed or tired, she will choose to go somewhere to help her mood improve.

“I am a bit of an introvert, so I like to go to peaceful, quiet places. Coming to a new land makes me feel relaxed after the fatigue and hustle and bustle of life,” Hong Trang confided.

In addition, she also has a passion for dancing. Because she believes that when she immerses herself in dance, she feels confident and comfortable being herself.

Despite being beautiful and talented, Hong Trang still doesn't have a boyfriend. When talking about her ideal boyfriend, the beauty shyly confided: "I don't have specific criteria for choosing a life partner. However, I still hope that my future lover is someone who is thoughtful, emotional, and treats me and my family well."
