According to VGC , Activision recently confirmed that it will be shutting down the original Call of Duty: Warzone game at the end of this year.
The company stated: "As of September 21, 2023, Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera will officially cease operations. This is part of a plan to allow the development team to focus more on new Call of Duty content in the future, including the currently very popular free-to-play Warzone game."

Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera is a rebranded version of the original Warzone game, which launched alongside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2020. After Warzone 2.0 was released last November, the original Warzone was renamed Caldera .
Activision has confirmed that players can still access all the outfits and weapons they have purchased (or unlocked) with the multiplayer mode of premium Call of Duty titles such as Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War , and Vanguard .
The company also expressed its gratitude to the Warzone fan community, stating: "Thank you to the Call of Duty community and our developers for making Call of Duty: Warzone a great place to play games together."
