Agribank is about to auction a debt of nearly 500 billion VND of a gemstone company.

Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development ( Agribank ) Branch 4 has just announced the fee for market valuation of the secured debt of Duc Tien Gemstone and Jewelry Trading Joint Stock Company to serve as a basis for determining the starting price for organizing a public auction of the debt.

Regarding the debt proposed for valuation, Agribank said that the enterprise's outstanding principal debt up to the present time is nearly 485 billion VND.

All assets securing the above debt are real estate. Specifically, the first asset is the right to use 62 plots of land in Tuy Phong Industrial Park with a total area of 956,639 m2 (commercial land, excluding traffic land and other ancillary works).

There is no property attached to the land. The owner is Tan Dai Tien Binh Thuan Company Limited. Address in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province.

The form of use is private use, the purpose of use is industrial park land. The term of use is until December 31, 2063. The origin of use is the State leasing land with one-time payment.

The second asset is the land use right and assets attached to the land at land plot No. 684 with an area of 1,214.2 m2 located at 307 Le Van Quoi, Quarter 1, Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The assets attached to the land are individual houses with a construction area of 565.4 m2 and a floor area of 4,456.7 m2.

In addition, there are land use rights and assets attached to land at plot No. 501 with an area of 842.3 m2 located at 309 Le Van Quoi, Quarter 1, Binh Tri Dong Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City. The assets attached to the land are individual houses, with a construction area of 523.4 m2 and a floor area of 4,338.4 m2.

Preliminary information about the borrower, Agribank provided is Duc Tien Gemstone and Jewelry Trading Joint Stock Company, located at 2nd Floor, No. 3 Dang Tran Con, Ben Thanh Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Business lines are buying and selling gold jewelry, fine arts. Wholesale of silver and silver jewelry, other precious metals (except buying and selling gold bars). Trading of precious and semi-precious stones, jewelry made of gold, silver, precious stones, semi-precious stones....

The company currently has a charter capital of 350 billion VND. The General Director and legal representative is Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thuc. The company is still operating.

Regarding the business situation, at the end of 2022, the company reported a 35% decrease in after-tax profit to VND 46 billion. Notably, Duc Tien Gemstone and Jewelry Business's equity increased sharply by 61.4% to VND 515 billion. However, the company's debt-to-equity ratio was 3.11 times its equity, equivalent to nearly VND 1,602 billion. Of which, outstanding bonds were nearly VND 500 billion.

Tan Dai Tien Binh Thuan Company Limited was established in April 2014 with the main business line being real estate. The legal representative of the company is Mr. Vu Tran Duc Duy. In addition, Mr. Duy also represents the following enterprises: Trieu Bao Anh Media Joint Stock Company, Jessica Vietnam Jewelry Joint Stock Company.

Tan Dai Tien Binh Thuan is the investor of Tuy Phong Industrial Park with a scale of 150 hectares, located in Vinh Hao commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province .
