“Bright Star” is one of the world's largest multinational exercises held in Egypt, including naval, army, air force and special forces training activities.
These exercises were first held in October 1980, after the signing of the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel. They have since been held every two years, with the most recent one taking place in the fall of 2021.
