AirAsia operates direct flights from Hanoi to Luang Prabang.

DNVN - Thai AirAsia (flight code FD) officially announces the operation of the Bangkok (DMK, Thailand) – Luang Prabang (LPQ, Laos) – Hanoi (HAN) route.

This route will meet the growing demand for connectivity between the two popular tourist destinations of Luang Prabang and Hanoi, while also providing a convenient opportunity for Vietnamese tourists to experience the ancient beauty of Luang Prabang – a UNESCO World Heritage site – with AirAsia's international standard service and competitive prices.

Thai AirAsia will operate a direct flight from Hanoi to Luang Prabang starting December 1, 2025.

Thai AirAsia will officially launch the Hanoi – Luang Prabang direct flight route on December 1, 2025, with daily flights. To celebrate the launch, the airline is offering promotional fares starting from VND 1,699,000/one-way, applicable to tickets purchased until September 7, 2025, and for travel between December 1, 2025, and March 28, 2026. Tickets are currently available for purchase on the AirAsia MOVE app, the official website, and authorized distribution channels.
