Sharing with El Pais (Spain), Alcaraz said: "My training is mainly focused on seeing how I can improve to beat Jannik Sinner.
Every time we play against each other, we push each other to the limit. It's a special competition, it's great to share a big title with him and look forward to big goals in the future."

Alcaraz also added about Sinner's level: "Like Sinner, I watch and study a lot of my opponents' matches. I like the way he plays, what he does is really great.
I don't think Sinner is easy to predict, it's just that we understand each other better because we've faced each other many times, a total of 15 times. I know Sinner's strengths and try to adjust to deal with them."
In 2025, Alcaraz won Roland Garros and the US Open, both times defeating Sinner in the final. In the Wimbledon final, the Spanish star lost when facing Sinner.
Alcaraz admitted that his goal is to reach perfection, constantly improve himself and not be complacent even though he just won the 6th Grand Slam of his career in the US.
The 22-year-old star also could not hide his joy at returning to the number one position on the ATP rankings: "One of the goals of this season is to try to regain the world number one position as soon as possible, or at least before the end of this year.
And my dream came true. Moreover, if that goal is completed at the same time as winning a Grand Slam, it feels great."
