(GLO)- The An Khe Fire Fighting and Rescue Team coordinated with Cuu An Wind Power Joint Stock Company to practice fire fighting and rescue at the 110 KV Cuu An transformer station in An Binh village (Cuu An commune, An Khe town, Gia Lai province) on April 5.
In a hypothetical situation: During the process of transporting equipment into the factory, the transport vehicle lost control and crashed into transformer T1, causing an electrical short circuit, the transformer caught fire, the front of the vehicle was damaged and 2 victims were trapped in the vehicle cabin.

Upon detecting a fire, the facility's fire prevention and fighting force quickly cut off the power, raised the alarm, used fire extinguishers to control the fire; organized escape, rescued people trapped in the fire, moved people and property to a safe place; and at the same time called the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and professional Rescue Force for assistance.
Upon receiving the news, the An Khe Fire Fighting and Rescue Team quickly dispatched 2 fire trucks and 16 officers and soldiers to the scene to coordinate with the local fire prevention and fighting force to rescue people trapped in the fire; move people and property to a safe place. Continue to deploy fire fighting activities; prevent the fire from spreading. After about 15 minutes, the fire was completely extinguished, people and property were moved to a safe place.
The exercise took place seriously, safely, in accordance with the requirements and techniques set out, with smooth coordination between the participating forces. Through the exercise, the aim was to help the firefighting and rescue forces gain more experience, operations, and skills in each specific situation as well as coordination in firefighting and rescue at the grassroots unit.
