In Lam Dong province (formerly merged Dak Nong ), pepper price is at 140,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Pepper price in Southeast region
In Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Ba Ria - Vung Tau merged), pepper price today is at 139,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
In Dong Nai (formerly merged Binh Phuoc), pepper price today is at 139,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.
Thus, today's pepper price, August 4, 2025, recorded no change in pepper price; currently the price is at 139,000 - 140,000 VND/kg.

Overall, over the past week, pepper prices in key producing provinces and cities increased slightly from 1,500 to 3,000 VND/kg compared to the previous week. Of which, pepper prices in Dak Lak increased by 1,500 VND/kg. In Gia Lai, pepper prices increased by 3,000 VND/kg. Pepper prices increased by 2,000 VND/kg in Dak Nong. In the Southeast region, including Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai, pepper prices increased by 2,000 VND/kg compared to the previous week.
Pepper price today in world market
In the world market, based on quotes from export enterprises and export prices in various countries, the International Pepper Association (IPC) has updated the prices of pepper of all types traded in the international market on August 3 (Hanoi time) as follows:
Indonesia's Lampung black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $7,063/ton. Meanwhile, Muntok white pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $9,873/ton.
Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 price stable at 6,000 USD/ton.
Malaysia’s ASTA black pepper price remained unchanged from yesterday at $8,900/ton. Meanwhile, the country’s ASTA white pepper price remained stable from yesterday at $11,750/ton.
Prices of all types of pepper in Vietnam remained stable compared to yesterday. Of which, the price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l reached 6,140 USD/ton; the price of 550 gr/l reached 6,270 USD/ton.
Similarly, Vietnam's white pepper price compared to yesterday reached 8,850 USD/ton.
Last week, world pepper prices fell sharply in major export markets Indonesia and Vietnam. Specifically, Indonesian black pepper and white pepper prices fell by 73 USD/ton and 102 USD/ton, respectively, compared to the previous week. Pepper export prices in Vietnam fell sharply by 300 USD/ton.
On the contrary, the export price of Brazilian pepper increased by 100 USD/ton, due to exporters actively buying goods before being subject to a reciprocal tax of up to 50%.
