Tien An Bat Cave is located under the forest canopy in village 3, Tien An commune, old Tien Phuoc district. The outside of the cave is covered with forest trees. The complex consists of two limestone caves formed millions of years ago. Inside the cave are large rocks and a system of tangled vines.
After millions of years, experiencing many types of weather, the rocks here were "designed" by nature into many strange shapes. The complex has many nooks and crannies, which were once home to bats. Although the cave here has not been affected by any source or stream, the rocks seem to show signs of erosion and smoothing, revealing veins with wavy, long lines, as if delicately carved by the hand of nature. Bat Cave hides many mysteries of nature and the beauty of the pristine cave, making visitors surprised and amazed.
The system of climbing plants covering the rock surface further enhances the mysteriousness of Bat Cave. The stones are stained with millions of years of history. With a geological age estimated by experts from 530 to 158 million years, the Bat Cave complex has been officially recognized as a provincial-level relic of Da Nang city.
The locality also aims to turn this complex into an attractive destination for tourists.
