Heroic pilot Vu Xuan Thieu and his immortal flight

Kim Dong Publishing House has just released a new publication, "Hero Vu Xuan Thieu and the Immortal Flight." The work is written by Nguyen Cong Huy, a former MiG-21 fighter pilot.

The book portrays the hero and martyr Vu Xuan Thieu, a pilot associated with the heroic feat of shooting down a B-52 during the Hanoi -Dien Bien Phu air victory in 1972. From a young boy fascinated by airplanes and fond of drawing them, to a Hanoi student nurturing the dream of conquering the skies, to a legendary heroic pilot, the book recreates this story through vivid and emotional writing. In particular, the book recounts the "immortal flight" at the end of 1972 of the heroic fighter pilot Vu Xuan Thieu, which became a symbol of courage and sacrifice for the Fatherland.
