Vocational training for young people completing military service and police service

(CT) - The People's Committee of Can Tho City has just issued a vocational training plan for youth who have completed their military service, police service, and volunteer youth who have completed their tasks of implementing socio-economic development programs and projects in 2025.

In 2025, Can Tho City will have 1,788 young people who have completed their military service; including 1,350 demobilized soldiers and 438 demobilized police officers. Each young person who has completed their military service or police service and meets the conditions and has a need to learn a trade within 12 months from the date of completing their military service or police service, or has completed the task of implementing socio-economic development programs and projects with a need for vocational training; and has not received vocational training support from other vocational training support policies using state budget funds will be granted a vocational training card at the elementary level and will receive support for meals and travel expenses at vocational training institutions.
