Vocational training for young people completing military service and police service

(CT) - The People's Committee of Can Tho City has just issued a vocational training plan for young people who have completed their military service, police service, and volunteer youth who have completed their tasks of implementing socio-economic development programs and projects in 2025.

Can Tho City Employment Service Center coordinated to organize "Job and vocational counseling point for police officers discharged from the army in 2024".

In 2025, Can Tho City will have 1,788 youths who have completed their military service; including 1,350 demobilized soldiers and 438 demobilized police officers. Each youth who has completed his /her military service or police service and meets the conditions and has a need to learn a trade within 12 months from the date of completion of his/her military service or police service, or has completed the task of implementing a socio-economic development program or project with a need for vocational training; and has not received vocational training support from other vocational training support policies using state budget funds will be granted a vocational training card at the elementary level and will receive support for meals and travel expenses at vocational training institutions.

Can Tho City People's Committee assigned the City Military Command to direct the District Military Command to coordinate with the District Departmentof Education and Training to create conditions for vocational training institutions to advise on receiving vocational training cards for youth discharged from the army in 2025; coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and related units to inspect and monitor the implementation of vocational training support policies for youth. The City Police directed the commune-level police to coordinate with the District Department of Education and Training to create conditions for vocational training institutions to advise youth on vocational training; coordinate with the Department of Education and Training and related units to inspect and monitor the implementation of support policies for youth.
