Apply new electricity bill form from June 1

Vietnam Electricity Group (EVN) said it has designed a new invoice form, adjusted and supplemented some information on the electricity bill to be applied from June 1, 2025. Specifically, it includes: Identification number; code of the unit related to the budget; passport number.

In case the customer has provided the above information to the electricity unit (when signing a contract or changing contract information, updating additional information), the electricity bill will display the information according to regulations.

According to EVN, customers should check and, in case they need to update or adjust information on their bills, contact the customer care centers of the power corporations for resolution and support.

The new electricity bill form is implemented based on Decree No. 70/2025/ND-CP dated March 20, 2025 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating invoices and documents.

In addition, the invoice form is also implemented based on Circular No. 32/2025/TT-BTC dated May 31, 2025 of the Ministry of Finance guiding the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Tax Administration dated June 13, 2019, Decree No. 123/2020/ND-CP dated October 19, 2020 of the Government regulating invoices and documents.
