Apple has just issued a press release stating that the latest iPad Mini model can be pre-ordered and will officially hit shelves on October 23, with a starting price of 12.5 million VND.

The new iPad mini still uses an 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display, which can even be held in one hand for operation. The device has an A17 Pro chip, which is introduced as 30% faster in CPU as well as 25% improved GPU, along with a neural chip with twice the performance of its predecessor.

In addition to the processing power upgrade, the new iPad mini also has something new for content creators: support for the Pencil Pro. The technical upgrade comes in the context of Apple focusing on promoting Apple Intelligence.

In addition, the iPad mini also has a number of other improvements such as Wi-Fi 6E connection, faster USB-C data transfer speed, and an upgraded 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with Smart HDR 4. In addition, the device also has all the new features of the iOS 18 operating system thanks to being pre-installed when sold.

According to the press release, “Apple” said that the new iPad Mini model is equipped with hardware-accelerated ray-tracing technology, helping to upgrade graphics for some games.

Apple allows users to pre-order the new iPad Mini starting today, with prices starting at $499 for the WiFi-only version and $649 for the version that also supports 5G networks.
