This is a re-edited version of the special series Attack on Titan: Final Season – The Final Chapters, with a running time of 145 minutes. These two special episodes concluded the Attack on Titan story, and are now being re-released as a feature film.

On its release date, the film will compete with several other highly anticipated films such as *Love Is Pain* (released on the same day), *The Four Vengeful Spirits*, *The Silver Kiss* (released a week earlier), and *Captain America: The New World* (released a week later). Therefore, the number of initial screenings of *Attack on Titan: The Last Attack* nationwide may be limited.
