Mr. Nguyen Quang Trung, Deputy Head of the Food Safety and Hygiene Department - Hanoi Department of Health , said that the department has asked the People's Committee of Cau Giay District (Hanoi City) to verify the information and images of a clip showing a restaurant in the district advertising a 40-meter-long pipe cart.

Previously, on the afternoon of May 7, speaking with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , Ms. Pham Khanh Phong Lan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety, informed that food safety management teams had stepped in to inspect the "cigarette cart" incident to ensure people's health and safety.

Preliminarily, Team 6 has inspected LC shop in Tan Binh district, which specializes in selling cigarette butts, and has taken samples for testing. Other teams have also checked the area and will conduct inspections and compile a general report of results.

According to Ms. Lan, the department has monitored advertisements about this dish online and collected information for official inspection.
