Father and three children electrocuted to death in a well

On the evening of May 14, families and residents were holding funerals for three victims from the same family who died from electrocution.

The victims were Mr. Kpah A. (born in 1970, residing in Voong Boong village, Chu Rang commune, Ia Pa district, Gia Lai province); Mr. Rmah T. (born in 1995, biological son of Mr. Kpah A.) and Mr. Nay G. (born in 1997, son-in-law of Mr. Kpah A).

Three father and sons in a family died in a well due to electric shock

On the same morning, Mr. Kpah A. sat repairing the water pump next to his family's dug well.

While repairing, Mr. Kpah A. was unfortunately electrocuted and fell into the well. Seeing this, Mr. Nay G. jumped into the well to save his father-in-law but unfortunately got electrocuted.

At this time, Mr. R.Th continued to go down the well to save and was also electrocuted.

Hearing the cry for help, two villagers, Mr. Siu K. and Mr. Rmah S., went down to rescue the victims and were also electrocuted but fortunately were not injured.

All three victims were then taken out of the well by relatives and taken to Ia Pa District Medical Center for emergency treatment, but died before arriving at the hospital.
