Bac Lieu announces the Decision to establish the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

Bac Lieu officially established two Party Committees; merging the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department.

On February 6th, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the decisions of the Provincial Party Committee on the restructuring of the organizational apparatus and personnel work in accordance with Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate and reorganize the organizational apparatus of the political system to be streamlined, effective, and efficient.

Accordingly, the Executive Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee decided to establish the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee decided to transfer and appoint the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

The leaders of Bac Lieu province presented the decision and offered flowers to congratulate the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

The Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee was established by merging the existing Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee. The unit has six internal departments: the Office; the Department of Political Theory and Party History; the Department of Propaganda, Press and Publishing; the Department of Science, Education, Culture and Arts; the Department of Mass Mobilization of State Agencies, Ethnic Minorities and Religions; and the Department of Mass Organizations and Associations.

Regarding staffing, the current number of staff in both agencies will be maintained, and the staff reduction plan will be implemented as stipulated.

The conference also announced the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. Specifically, Mr. Ta Trung Dung, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, was transferred and appointed to the position of Head of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

In addition, Mr. Vo Van Luc, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mr. Tang Hong Truong, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; Mr. Pham Minh Luyen, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and Ms. Truong Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, were appointed as Deputy Heads of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Departments of the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee.

Also at the Conference announcing the Decision of the Provincial Party Committee on the restructuring of the apparatus and personnel work, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee decided to establish the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies of Bac Lieu. Accordingly, the activities of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc ended, and 29 grassroots party organizations and 564 party members belonging to the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc were transferred to be directly under the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies of Bac Lieu.

The Party Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial Agencies is an organization directly under the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee and is the direct superior of the subordinate grassroots party organizations. It has legal personality, its own seal and bank account, and is equipped with facilities and working equipment as prescribed. Its office is located at the current headquarters of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies.

Simultaneously, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee was established, transferring 50 grassroots party organizations and 3,960 members of the Party Committee of the provincial agencies to be directly under the Party Committee of the Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee. Its office is located at the Provincial People's Committee.

At the conference, Bac Lieu Provincial Party Secretary Lu Van Hung congratulated the establishment of the two Party Committees, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, and congratulated the comrades on their new assignments.

Mr. Lu Van Hung emphasized that the establishment of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, based on the merger of the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department, aims to streamline the organizational structure to ensure effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with the Central Committee's directives. The Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work is a crucial task, contributing to the robust development of the provincial Party Committee. Based on this, the Bac Lieu Provincial Party Secretary, Lu Van Hung, requested that the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the two newly established Party Committees immediately begin their work, ensuring that the reorganized structure operates smoothly, efficiently, and effectively, surpassing the previous organizational structure; leaving no areas or sectors unoccupied; and not negatively impacting socio-economic activities and the lives of the people.
