On the occasion of National Day (September 2), from August 31 to September 3, 2024, the number of visitors to tourist areas and spots in the province was more than 74,100, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2023.

According to statistics from hotels registered for tourism business, there were about 18,000 guests using accommodation services (up 4.6% over the same period in 2023), hotel room occupancy reached 70 - 80%. International visitors alone were about 1,160 (up 3.1% over the same period), domestic visitors were about 72,940 (up 6.1% over the same period). Bac Lieu 's total tourism revenue during the holiday reached about 59 billion VND (revenue from restaurants, hotels, and food and beverage establishments reached 23 billion VND).

Although there were many rains during the holidays, the number of visitors to Bac Lieu was still quite large.
