Bac Lieu participates in the Military Bloc meeting in Ho Chi Minh City

(BL-NQ) On the morning of April 20, in a solemn atmosphere towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the Ho Chi Minh City Resistance Tradition Club - Military Movement Bloc held an intimate meeting at Ky Hoa Hotel (District 10).

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and a delegation of the Bac Lieu Province Resistance Movement Traditional Liaison Committee led by Comrade Le Hoang Minh - Head of the Committee, along with many veteran revolutionaries, historical witnesses and relatives of martyrs' families in the Movement.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed valuable documentary footage of the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign and films about the tradition of the Military Propaganda Department. In a warm atmosphere of camaraderie, the delegates recalled the heroic, arduous, sacrificial but also very proud years of the Military Propaganda Department.

The opinions expressed all affirmed the great role and especially important contributions of the Military Propaganda Department in the resistance war against the US to save the country. Comrade Pham Van Thang - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Resistance Tradition Club - Military Propaganda Bloc, affirmed: With the assigned tasks, the military propaganda work was truly a strategic spearhead, contributing significantly to propaganda, mobilization, organization, conversion, disintegration of enemy ranks, gathering and mobilizing the strength of the entire people at both the front and the rear, creating a combined strength leading to the final victory in the Spring of 1975.

On this occasion, the Executive Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Resistance Tradition Club - Military Movement Bloc respectfully presented fresh bouquets of flowers, expressing deep gratitude to the veteran revolutionaries, relatives of martyrs - Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and historical witnesses present.

Representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee also presented meaningful souvenirs to delegates attending the meeting.

The meeting took place in a solemn atmosphere, warm with comradeship and team spirit, a precious opportunity for generations of cadres and soldiers to review traditions, show gratitude to previous generations and strengthen their belief and determination to contribute to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland today.
