Many "big guys" recruit workers
After a period of construction, at the end of June, VinFast Ha Tinh Electric Car Factory came into operation, marking a new development step for Ha Tinh's manufacturing industry. To meet the operational requirements of the car factory, VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company recently coordinated with Ha Tinh Employment Service Center to recruit 1,000 workers.
With the appeal of the Vingroup brand, in 4 recruitment sessions of VinFast, nearly 3,000 candidates came to apply for positions such as: general production workers, electrical maintenance workers, welding workers, painters, mechanics, electricity, electronics, electrical repair, auto repair, forklift drivers, warehouse workers.
Mr. Le Van Ky (Mai Phu commune, old Thach Ha district) shared: "When I received information about VinFast factory recruitment, I quickly applied for the position of quality management worker. Working in a highly professional environment with attractive salary and bonus policies will help me have the opportunity to develop myself."
It is known that when recruited to work at VinFast Electric Car Factory, workers will enjoy attractive salaries along with benefits such as: 13th month salary bonus and other bonuses; insurance payment according to regulations, annual health check-ups; overtime allowances and allowances according to regulations; shuttle bus support and shift accommodation when working in Ha Tinh.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Hien - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Employment Service Center said: "In order for many workers to access information and find job opportunities, the center has synchronously deployed solutions to widely disseminate VinFast's 4 recruitment sessions to localities. Organize an online registration system to reduce the effort for workers. On the other hand, carefully arrange facilities to serve the recruitment sessions".
After a thorough testing and evaluation process through theoretical exams, physical tests and direct interviews, VinFast Production and Trading Joint Stock Company has recruited 1,000 workers.
Another "big guy" in the industrial manufacturing industry, Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Corporation, has also regularly coordinated with the Employment Service Center to organize recruitment sessions for workers to work at the factory. According to a representative of Formosa Ha Tinh Company, every month, the unit organizes a recruitment session for workers with intermediate to university degrees in fields such as: electricity, mechanics, electrical - electronic engineering, automation, welding and other related fields with attractive salaries and benefits.
Not only domestically, in recent times, Ha Tinh Employment Service Center has also made efforts to connect overseas job opportunities for workers in need. In the first 6 months of the year, the center has successfully consulted and connected more than 300 workers to work abroad.
Mr. Dao Quang Hung - Head of the Department of Labor - Employment, Department of Home Affairs said: "In the first 6 months of the year, the whole province has created jobs for more than 14,100 people (reaching over 60.62% of the 2025 plan), of which, jobs in the province are more than 6,200 people, jobs outside the province are more than 2,600 people and labor export is more than 5,300 people. The number of workers who have jobs through the Employment Service Center and employment service enterprises is over 6,500 people. This is a great effort of the units in connecting with businesses, at the same time reflecting positive signals in the socio-economic development of the province".
When schools both train and create jobs
In the first months of 2025, training institutions have been proactive in linking, connecting, and cooperating with businesses inside and outside the province to find jobs for students after graduation.
Mr. Nguyen Van Ngoc - Vice Principal of Ha Tinh Vocational College said: "In parallel with improving the quality of training, the school has proactively connected and signed cooperation agreements with a number of businesses inside and outside the province. When students graduate, businesses will directly evaluate and select students with good abilities to work. Through surveys, over 80% of the school's students after training find stable jobs at businesses".
In fact, in recent times, many enterprises such as Formosa Ha Tinh, MCC Vietnam, Vingroup Corporation and some other provincial units have directly come to training facilities such as Viet Duc Technical College Ha Tinh, Ha Tinh College of Technology, Ha Tinh Vocational College... to organize recruitment sessions. Up to now, thousands of students have found jobs through the school's connection with enterprises that come to recruit directly.
Dr. Cao Thanh Le - Principal of Viet Duc Ha Tinh Technical College said: "Connecting with businesses to solve employment for students is a step to close the training process. Only when connecting with businesses, taking advantage of business resources, will students have the opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have learned, thereby evaluating the quality of training every year. The good news is that over 95% of the school's students find stable jobs, especially in the technical sector, nearly 100% of students have jobs after graduation".
In addition, training institutions also proactively connect students to do internships at businesses. This is considered a solution to improve training quality, because when doing internships at businesses with a professional working environment, it will help students mature quickly and have the opportunity to be recruited by businesses.
Recently, the Provincial Party Committee has issued an action program to implement Resolution 68 of the Central Committee on private economic development with many new policies to create conditions for private enterprises to develop and for Ha Tinh's children to stay in their hometown to work. This promises to create many jobs in the coming time. In addition, the speed of disbursement of public investment capital in the province has been accelerated, contributing to promoting economic growth and creating many jobs for local workers. Some key projects in the province are being actively implemented such as: Vung Ang II Thermal Power Plant, Phu Vinh Industrial Park project, VISIP Industrial Park project... when completed and put into operation, they will bring job opportunities for workers in the province.
