Bac Ninh aims to build 10,000 rental housing units.

Bac Ninh province plans to develop more than 2,200 rental apartments in 2026.

Following the directive from Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on promoting the development of rental housing, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has issued a plan for the development of rental housing for the period 2026-2030 to address the housing needs of workers, laborers, and low-income individuals.

Specifically, Bac Ninh aims to complete more than 135,000 social housing units by 2030, as assigned by the Government . Of these, approximately 10,000 units will be rental housing and worker accommodation developed through social housing projects, worker accommodation projects, rental housing projects invested in by businesses, and from the local housing fund.

Specifically in 2026, Bac Ninh aims to develop approximately 2,260 rental apartments from projects renovating student housing, social housing, worker accommodation, and other rental housing projects in the province. At the same time, the province strives to commence construction on 3 worker accommodation projects with a scale of approximately 3,910 units.

Bac Ninh aims to complete more than 10,000 rental housing units and worker accommodation by 2030.

Bac Ninh also aims to ensure that all industrial zones in the province are planned and allocated land or develop housing and accommodation projects to meet the housing needs of workers and laborers.

In addition, the province will complete, connect, and put into operation a synchronized database on housing and the real estate market; gradually digitize the management of housing, beneficiaries, and the real estate market in the area.

According to the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, the locality currently has approximately 1,158 rooms in student housing areas, more than 5,200 social housing units invested by businesses, 3,487 worker accommodation units, and nearly 14,000 rental rooms built by local people.

Regarding social housing targets, Bac Ninh completed 31,221 units during the 2021-2025 period. For the 2026-2030 period, the province is tasked with completing 119,073 units, with 19,900 units specifically for 2026.

To achieve this goal, the Provincial People's Committee is focusing on directing the acceleration of investment and construction progress for 16 social housing projects with a total scale of 17,569 units, while also urging the early commencement of 13 other projects.

Regarding rental housing, Bac Ninh is currently implementing 4 worker accommodation projects in industrial zones with a total of 5,214 apartments.
