Bac Ninh connects cinema with heritage and tourism.

BAC NINH - According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, a survey and seminar program on the theme "Cinema - Connecting Heritage and Tourism in Bac Ninh Province" in 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 11 to 15.

The program aims to create a foundation for promoting film production cooperation, showcasing the province's cultural heritage and tourism potential through cinema. It also serves as important preparation in terms of content and organizational conditions for the 25th Vietnam Film Festival in Bac Ninh in 2027.

Artists and filmmakers visited and surveyed Dong Ho painting village.

The program includes representatives from management agencies, film studios, producers, directors, screenwriters, artists, and film-related organizations. According to the plan, the film delegation will conduct on-site surveys at several historical sites, scenic spots, traditional craft villages, and typical cultural spaces within the province.

Next, delegates will present survey results, offer observations and assessments, propose script ideas, share film production experiences, discuss coordination mechanisms, and outline the development direction of the cultural industry associated with cinema in Bac Ninh .

This activity contributes to spreading the cultural heritage values ​​of Kinh Bac and promoting sustainable tourism development, affirming the role of cinema as an effective promotional channel, bringing the image of the land, culture, and people of Bac Ninh closer to domestic and international audiences.
