On behalf of the Steering Committee of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award of Bac Ninh province, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung launched the National Press Award on Party building, the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2024 in the whole province.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Quoc Chung emphasized that the 9th National Press Award on Party Building in 2024 was launched to meet the requirements of continuing to promote the Party building and rectification work with new contents, in order to promptly reflect the key points of Party building work and a clean and strong political system, effectively contributing to the two strategic tasks of building and defending the Fatherland.

To attract more press works to participate, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council requested localities, agencies, units, especially key forces such as: Bac Ninh Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, media agencies in the province, propaganda and mass mobilization systems, political and social organizations to closely follow the key points of Party building and rectification work and the political system; implement in detail and specifically Plan No. 138-KH/TU, dated May 3, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee on Responding to the organization of the 9th National Press Award on Party building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) in 2024;
Actively promote and encourage reporters, editors, collaborators, cadres, party members and people to participate in the Award in appropriate forms; at the same time, coordinate with relevant agencies to suggest and guide new content, difficult issues, and outstanding results so that press agencies can closely follow vivid reality to create high-quality, successful press works to participate in the Award.
The National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) is an annual award organized by the Central Organizing Committee in coordination with Nhan Dan Newspaper, Communist Magazine, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Journalists Association to present outstanding press works on Party building.
Through the Award, we aim to affirm the important position and role of Party building work, creating the attention of cadres, Party members and the whole society to the work of Party building and building the political system.
Continue to attract the attention and active response of cadres, reporters, and editors of press agencies to participate in writing and creating press works on Party building, contributing to improving the quality of propaganda on Party building work.
The award is selected and awarded to authors (groups of authors) and excellent journalistic works on Party building in the following aspects: politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, in the fields of organization - cadre work, propaganda, inspection, mass mobilization, foreign affairs, anti-corruption, etc.
Participants are Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad (including overseas Vietnamese) whose press works are published or broadcast on various types of press (printed newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television, etc.).
The award is also given to press agencies, propaganda departments, and Party committees that are exemplary in disseminating Party building work and organizing the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in the locality.
The time for posting and publishing works is from November 1, 2023 to October 31, 2024. The deadline for receiving works is November 10, 2024 (according to the postmark).
