The weather is late spring, full of vitality. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Vietnam, at the invitation of Comrade To Lam, General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Comrade Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, I will pay a state visit to Vietnam.
This is the fourth time I have set foot on this beautiful land since assuming the position of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and President of the People's Republic of China. I hope to share friendship, discuss cooperation, and put forward a new vision for building a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future of strategic significance in the new era with the Vietnamese leaders.
China and Vietnam are two friendly socialist neighbors with common ideals and beliefs, and share broad strategic interests. Throughout the process of exploring a socialist path suitable to each country's situation as well as the process of promoting modernization, the profound friendship between the two Parties, two countries and two peoples has continuously blossomed and grown to new heights.
The building of a China-Vietnam Community of Shared Future has strategic significance, is in line with the common interests of the two countries, is beneficial to peace, stability and prosperous development of the region and the world, and is the choice of history and the choice of the people.
