On the afternoon of July 15th, in Hanoi , a press conference for the Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 – a fashion show for people with disabilities in Vietnam – with the theme “The Shape of Will,” took place with the participation of many famous guests such as the top 3 Miss Vietnam 2024, speaker Nguyen Son Lam, designer Ngo Diem Huong, and others.
More than just an art performance, this event brought together over 50 models with disabilities from various provinces and cities across the country. Instead of focusing solely on conventional aesthetic standards, the program opened up an artistic space for those who were once considered "not qualified" to perform on stage.

Designer Ngo Diem Huong - founder and head of the organizing committee - shared: “I am building a journey where each outfit is a dream, and each step on the runway is an affirmation. Even with trembling legs or broken heels, the wearer can still shine through willpower.”
Notably, Miss Vietnam 2024 Ha Truc Linh and speaker Nguyen Son Lam were introduced as inspirational ambassadors for this year's program.
Hà Trúc Linh emotionally shared: “In my new role, I have become an inspiration to the disabled community. I appreciate the efforts and meaningful journeys of everyone in spreading positive messages.”
"I myself, standing here, have gone through a very long process of learning and training to reach this position. It's the journey of a young woman with many shortcomings. None of us are perfect; what's important is that you always develop and learn to become better every day."

Beyond just a fashion show, the Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 also launched the "Kindness Fashion Wardrobe" project. This is a collection of outfits friendly to people with disabilities, designed from recycled materials, and associated with environmental messages and sharing within the community.
Three ongoing activities were implemented: organizing sewing vocational training classes for people with disabilities, soliciting donations of used fabrics, and inviting the community to design clothing suitable for their special needs.
The organizers hope the event will become the starting point for a long journey where fashion is not just for a select group, but a voice for kindness and equality.
With the message "fashion is for everyone," the program aims to change societal perceptions of people with disabilities so that they are not only seen, but also appreciated.
The Vietnam Disability Fashion Show 2025 , themed “The Shape of Will,” will take place on August 4th at the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum.
