Bach Mai Ward seeks opinions on renaming residential groups

After the administrative arrangement, Bach Mai Ward has 108 residential groups. Bach Mai Ward People's Committee plans to temporarily name the residential groups in the ward. Voter consultation will be organized in the form of a conference of voters representing households in the residential groups, to be completed before 10:00 a.m. on July 18.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Bach Mai Ward Nguyen Thi Thu Hien highly appreciated the role of the heads of residential groups. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien emphasized that entering a new phase when Bach Mai ward operates under a two-level local government model, the role of the head of the residential group becomes even more important.

"You and your comrades are not only a bridge between the local government and the people, but also an important force in grasping the situation at the grassroots level, promptly detecting, reflecting and advising on handling issues arising in the community," said Ms. Hien.

Regarding the upcoming tasks, the Ward People's Committee requested that the heads of residential groups focus on coordinating with the ward government to collect people's opinions on the arrangement and renaming of residential groups to ensure compliance with procedures, regulations and high consensus among the people.

Along with that, the heads of residential groups increased propaganda to local people about the tasks of socio -economic development, maintaining urban order, environmental sanitation, the culmination of which was the general environmental sanitation campaign to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2, welcoming Party congresses at all levels.

“I request that you, comrades, actively cooperate with the government in disease prevention and control, implementing social security policies, especially digital transformation, in which the Community Digital Transformation Team is playing a very active role,” emphasized the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bach Mai Ward.

Chairwoman of Bach Mai Ward People's Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hien also requested that the heads of residential groups continue to closely coordinate with departments, offices, and organizations in organizing emulation movements, mobilizing people to participate in monitoring, criticizing, and maintaining solidarity in residential areas.

In particular, the heads of residential groups regularly inform and discuss issues arising in the locality so that the ward government can promptly grasp and have directions and directions for socio-economic development tasks, coordinate budget collection, state management of political security, construction order, fire prevention and fighting.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien affirmed that in order to successfully complete the common tasks, the ward government committed to creating conditions, supporting, listening, exchanging, and closely coordinating with the heads of residential groups to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the process of organizing and implementing tasks at the grassroots level. Thereby, contributing to the successful implementation of assigned tasks, building Bach Mai ward to develop quickly and sustainably.
