It is forecasted that by 4am on October 22, storm No. 12 Fengshen in the sea northwest of Hoang Sa special zone will change direction to West Southwest, move slowly, travel 10-15km per hour and maintain intensity of level 9-10, gust level 12.
At about 4:00 a.m. on October 23, storm No. 12 Fengshen in the coastal waters of Hue City - Quang Ngai, changed direction to the Southwest, speed about 10km/h, likely gradually weakening into a tropical depression with intensity of level 6, gusting to level 8.

Total rainfall from Ha Tinh to Northern Quang Tri and Quang Ngai is about 200-400mm, locally over 500mm; from Southern Quang Tri to Da Nang City, it is generally 500-700mm, in some places over 900mm.
Heavy rains in the Central region may last until the end of October 2025.
There is a high risk of flash floods and landslides in mountainous areas, flooding in low-lying areas and urban areas. Forecasting the cold air, the meteorological agency said that currently, the cold air has a weak impact on the North Central region and some places in the Northwest.
