- On the morning of October 20, on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025) and 15 years of Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20, 2010 - October 20, 2025), the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee assigned the Provincial Women's Union to preside over the organization of a meeting program with leaders and cadres of the Women's Union through the periods, female former revolutionary prisoners, former youth volunteers, and outstanding veterans.

Delegates watched a report on the 95th anniversary of the establishment and development of the Vietnam Women's Union.

Attending the program were comrades: Doan Thu Ha, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Giap Thi Bac, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, and socio- political organizations of the province.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Women's Union and the Lang Son Provincial Women's Union over 95 years of struggle and development.

Over 95 years of establishment and development, the Vietnam Women's Union has always been the flag that gathers and unites women nationwide, making great contributions to the struggle for national liberation, construction and development of the country. The Women's Union promotes its representative role in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of women, striving for women's development and gender equality.

During the revolutionary periods, Lang Son women have achieved many feats and outstanding achievements, and have been commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors. In the program, representatives of outstanding former youth volunteers and former leaders of the Provincial Women's Union expressed their feelings about the 95-year tradition of building and growing the union.

Speaking at the program, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and praised the results, efforts and contributions of generations of cadres and women members of Lang Son. At the same time, he expressed deep gratitude to the sisters, mothers, and generations of steadfast and indomitable women who have devoted and sacrificed for their homeland and country.

He suggested: Women's unions at all levels continue to promote the glorious 95-year tradition, strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Women's Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; pay attention to and accompany women in comprehensive development, especially women in difficult areas, ethnic minorities and disadvantaged groups; strengthen education to spread the good values ​​of Vietnamese women in the new era.

At the same time, women's unions at all levels continue to improve the quality of union cadres, discover, train and introduce female cadres with capacity, courage and good qualities to meet the requirements of the new period. Diversify the forms of gathering, attract members, expand the solidarity in the work of mobilizing and gathering women. Organize the activities of the two-level Women's Union apparatus to be streamlined, effective and efficient. The specialized agency of the union needs to operate intelligently, manage transparently, promote research activities towards solving problems for members and the union in the new era, actively contributing to promoting local socio-economic development.
