Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to mobilize support for people to overcome damage caused by the storm, on the afternoon of October 20, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam (Agribank) Bac Long An Branch and Agribank Dong Long An Branch presented funds to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to support people affected by natural disasters.

With the spirit of "mutual support" and "helping those in need," the staff and employees of the two Agribank branches actively contributed and supported the people in the provinces severely affected by typhoons No. 10 and No. 11, helping to share difficulties and enabling people to quickly overcome the consequences of the natural disaster and stabilize their lives.

Accordingly, the staff and employees of Agribank's Bac Long An Branch contributed a total of 138.9 million VND, of which 20 million VND was sent to support the people of Thai Nguyen province, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives; and 118.9 million VND was donated to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province to continue distributing aid to people in the affected areas.

In addition, Agribank Dong Long An Branch also donated 126.7 million VND to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tay Ninh province.

All donated funds will be received by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province and promptly allocated to support people in localities affected by natural disasters. This meaningful activity not only demonstrates the solidarity and responsibility for the community of the Agribank staff and employees but also is a practical action in response to the call of the Party, the State, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, contributing to spreading the spirit of compassion and sharing in the community.

To date, the total amount of money donated by philanthropists to support flood victims through the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has reached nearly 3 billion VND.
