The collection “Pride of Vietnamese Women” was created by the Soldier’s Heart Organization and the Forever 20 Club, donated to the Vietnam Women’s Museum for preservation, display and dissemination to the public. The images were restored from original black and white documents into vivid color portraits, recreating the resilient and immortal beauty of Vietnamese women – people who lived, fought and devoted themselves to the Fatherland.

The collection includes more than 20 portraits of female Heroes - Martyrs "Forever 20" such as: Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (1910-1941), Vo Thi Sau (1933-1952), Mac Thi Buoi (1927-1951), Le Thi Hong Gam (1951-1970), Le Thi Rieng (1925-1968), Hoang Ngan (1921-1949), Dang Thuy Tram (1942-1970)...
Along with that are the portraits of the first four leaders of the Vietnam Women's Union: Le Thi Xuyen (1909-1996), Nguyen Thi Thap (1908-1996), Ha Thi Que (1921-2012) and Nguyen Thi Dinh (1920-1992).
The reconstructions not only focus on physical beauty but also express the depth of soul and temperament of Vietnamese women. Whether in the harsh context of war or daily life, they still exude the beauty of perseverance, kindness and tolerance.
