The event took place on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025) and the 43rd anniversary of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2025).
According to writer Dang Vuong Hung - Head of the Organizing Committee, the history of the Vietnamese revolution has witnessed many great intellectuals such as Huynh Thuc Khang, Nguyen Van To, Ho Dac Di, Tran Huy Lieu, Dang Thai Mai, Vu Ngoc Phan, Hoang Minh Giam, Nguyen Van Huyen, Pham Ngoc Thach, Ta Quang Buu... who were willing to leave their comfortable lives to embark on the revolutionary path, accepting hardships and sacrifices.
He affirmed: “ Everyone wholeheartedly followed the revolution. That miracle came from the virtue and behavior of President Ho Chi Minh towards intellectuals and the policy of Great National Unity.”

Responding to that spirit, a group of young artists from the "Soldier's Heart" Organization has created a collection of 8 portraits of the first leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Nguyen Luong Bang, Ton Duc Thang, Hoang Quoc Viet, Huynh Tan Phat, Nguyen Huu Tho, Trinh Dinh Thao, Le Quang Dao...) and 20 portraits of outstanding scholars, intellectuals, and teachers.
This is just a small symbolic part of the thousands of names that have contributed to the country from the August Revolution of 1945 to the resistance wars. Many people have been honored by having streets and public works named after them.
At the event, the public will have access to the newly published work "Hurried notes on the firecracker tray" by author Nguyen Thuy - a war invalid and teacher born in 1944 in Chu Xa (Quang Chau, Bac Ninh ).

In 1963, after graduating from high school, he joined the army and became an anti-aircraft artillery soldier protecting the skies of the Northwest and upper Laos. After being discharged from the army, he brought back two notebooks recording the fierce fighting days - the pages were yellowed, smelling of gunpowder, bullets, sweat and blood of his comrades.
Those notes have now become the book “Hurried notes on the artillery tray”, 270 pages thick, large format, printed on 100g offset paper, with color photo supplements, published by the Writers Association Publishing House.

The diary began on March 8, 1965 and ended on August 22, 1968, faithfully recreating the life and fighting of the first generation of anti-aircraft soldiers in the resistance war against the US. Only over 1,000 days and nights but contains many valuable, vivid details, reflecting the soldiers' thoughts during the fierce years of the nation.
The book is considered not only the memory of a soldier, but also the spiritual legacy of a time of war, leaving for future generations authentic slices of the Northwest and Upper Laos battlefields in the late 1960s.
