On the morning of December 5, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum, the Vietnam Women's Museum, the Cuban Embassy in Vietnam and accompanying units jointly organized the exhibition "Loyalty and Love" at the Vietnam Women's Museum (Hanoi). The exhibition is an activity to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba (December 2, 1960 - December 2, 2025), the Vietnam - Cuba Friendship Year, the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2025); the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2025).
Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet, Director of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum and the Vietnam Women's Museum, said that completing the exhibition was not only a professional journey, but also a sincere emotion when coming into contact with documents, stories and artifacts about the Vietnam - Cuba friendship.

The portrait of President Fidel Castro painted in 1966 was received and preserved by journalist Huynh Hung Ly for more than half a century. In 2024, journalist Huynh Dung Nhan (son of journalist Huynh Hung Ly) donated this souvenir to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Museum. "Despite having moved our house many times, fleeing from enemies and bombs, my family still carefully brought this painting with us as a precious asset," Mr. Huynh Dung Nhan shared.

The exhibition consists of 4 parts, introducing more than 200 images, documents, and typical artifacts summarizing the history of the special, comprehensive, united, and loyal friendship between Vietnam and Cuba. In particular, the opening part "Under the same flag" summarizes the similarities between the two countries and the historical milestone when Vietnam and Cuba established diplomatic relations in 1960.

The exhibition section with the theme "Two hearts..." introduces typical images and stories reflecting the special, comprehensive relationship between Vietnam and Cuba during the most difficult times of the two countries. Notably, the role of "female general" Nguyen Thi Dinh, a special woman who contributed to the strong friendship between Vietnam and Cuba. In the photo, the relics of Major General Nguyen Thi Dinh are associated with the Vietnam - Cuba relationship.

The exhibition "Common Beat" with documents and images shows the solidarity of the two Parties and peoples, the comprehensive cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Cuba is constantly being strengthened, promoted and developed in all fields. Ms. Phuong Song Lien (a former Vietnamese student in Cuba) was moved when recalling her own memories of her years studying in the neighboring country. "Cuba has given us wonderful conditions throughout our years of studying here," Ms. Lien shared.

Present at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes affirmed that the exhibition is a profound tribute to the historical relationship between the two peoples, a relationship that has been forged over many generations and always preserved as a priceless treasure, becoming a shining example of international solidarity.
