On the same day, General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Li Qiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhao Leji, and Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning sent wreaths to the Vietnamese Embassy in China.
In New York, the United States, the Permanent Mission of Vietnam to the United Nations solemnly held a memorial service for formerPresident Tran Duc Luong. The delegation welcomed many international delegations to pay their respects, sign the condolence book and offer condolences, including the Ambassadors to the United Nations of Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Timor-Leste, the Holy See, etc. On the same day, the Vietnamese Embassy in the United States also solemnly held a memorial service and opened the condolence book in memory of former President Tran Duc Luong.
According to Vietnam News Agency, at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Israel, many international friends, representatives of overseas Vietnamese, and the Vietnamese community living, studying and working in Israel came to pay their respects, sign the condolence book and express their condolences over the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong.

Singaporean Ambassador to Israel, Mr. Ian Mak Jung-I, wrote: “President Tran Duc Luong will always be remembered for his great contributions to the development of Vietnam, as well as for his unwavering and unwavering dedication to the Vietnamese people. He led the country to successfully implement many important reforms, bringing Vietnam into deep integration with ASEAN and actively integrating into the international community. President Tran Duc Luong was also a close friend of Singapore. He played a key role in laying a solid foundation for the bilateral relationship between the two countries, especially through the establishment of the Framework for Connecting the Two Economies in 2005 and promoting effective cooperation in the development of Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Parks."
In Cairo (Egypt), all officials, staff of the Embassy and representatives of the Vietnamese community in Egypt observed a minute of silence to remember and bid farewell to former President Tran Duc Luong. Also present to pay their respects and sign the condolence book were the Ambassadors of Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia... Cairo Governor Ibrahim Saber, the Egyptian Foreign Affairs Council as well as representatives of the Embassies of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and the Palestinian territories sent telegrams and notes of condolences.
Sri Lankan Ambassador to Egypt Sisira Senavirathne wrote: "Former President Tran Duc Luong devoted his entire life to the people of Vietnam and to the cause of national development, as well as to world peace." Australian Ambassador to Egypt Alex Wabenhorst wrote: "On behalf of the Australian Government, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the Government and people of Vietnam on the passing of former President Tran Duc Luong. His career will be remembered forever for his great contributions to strengthening Vietnam's diplomatic and economic relations."
According to the People's Army Newspaper, the Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba held a memorial service and opened a condolence book on May 24-25 to welcome Cuban and international friends to pay their respects and express condolences to the Party, State, people of Vietnam and the family of former President Tran Duc Luong.

Writing in the condolence book, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez expressed that the passing of comrade Tran Duc Luong has left immense pain for the Cuban and Vietnamese people. The Cuban leader emphasized that history will forever remember his example and dedication to the revolution, for the prosperity of the Vietnamese people, as well as his contributions to strengthening the historic and special relationship, the brotherhood between the Cuban and Vietnamese peoples.
Coming to express condolences to the Vietnamese people, Vice President of the Cuban Institute for Friendship with Peoples (ICAP) Victor Gaute expressed: "We would like to send to you, our Vietnamese brothers, our deepest condolences on the passing of comrade Tran Duc Luong, who made valuable contributions to the loyal and exemplary Cuba - Vietnam relationship."
Ms. Alicia Corredera, Director of the Asia Department of ICAP, shared: “We are deeply saddened by the passing of our comrade and close friend Tran Duc Luong. We, the Cuban people, would like to share this great loss with the Vietnamese people!”
