On the afternoon of November 27, in Hanoi, the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security solemnly held a ceremony to announce the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work. General To Lam, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Minister of Public Security chaired the ceremony.
Attending the ceremony were Major General Le Van Tuyen, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.
At the ceremony, delegates heard the announcement of the Secretariat's Decision on personnel work. Accordingly, on October 30, 2023, the Secretariat signed a Decision to transfer Major General Vu Hong Van, member of the Central Inspection Commission , Director of the Department of Internal Political Security, Ministry of Public Security to work at the Central Inspection Commission.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister To Lam emphasized that, based on the requirements of the Central Inspection Commission and the consolidation of the specialized inspection and supervision agency of the Central Executive Committee to perform the tasks and powers as prescribed, at the 8th Conference of the 13th Party Central Executive Committee, 3 additional members of the Central Inspection Commission were elected, including Major General Vu Hong Van, Director of the Department of Internal Political Security.

Throughout his career, Major General Vu Hong Van has always demonstrated pure moral qualities, a firm ideological stance, steadfastly defended the Party's viewpoints and guidelines, the State's policies and laws, wholeheartedly serving the Fatherland and the people; always upheld the spirit of responsibility, dedication, and effort, overcame difficulties and challenges, excellently fulfilled assigned duties and tasks, and was trusted by the collective.
During 28 years of working in the industry, Major General Vu Hong Van has made many contributions and achieved many feats that have been recognized and highly appreciated by the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security, and people; and has been awarded many noble prizes.
