Handing over houses to former People's Police members.
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security Force and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for Protecting National Security, on the afternoon of August 13th, the Ca Mau Provincial Police, in coordination with the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (Agribank) Ca Mau branch, handed over a house of gratitude to Mr. Nguyen Binh Em, a member of the Association of Former Public Security Officers, Hamlet 1, Tri Phai commune.

The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions handed over a charitable house and presented gifts to a disadvantaged household.
Young police officers in the province are determined to eliminate temporary housing for struggling former police officers.
After nearly a month of construction, the house was completed, conforming to the model prescribed by the Ministry of Public Security , with a width of 4.5 meters and a length of 12 meters, at a total cost of over 105 million VND. Of this amount, the Ministry of Public Security contributed 60 million VND, and the remainder was funded by Agribank's Ca Mau branch, through the efforts of the Provincial Police Directorate.

In Ca Mau province, this is one of 29 houses that the Ministry of Public Security has provided funding for to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing for members of the Association of Former Public Security Officers; it is expected that all remaining houses will be handed over before August 15, 2025.
Colonel Le Tan Vinh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, presented the decision to transfer the house to Mr. Nguyen Binh Em.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Le Tan Vinh, Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, said that in recent times, the Ca Mau Provincial Police have actively and effectively implemented the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for members of the Association of Former Public Security Officers . Immediately upon receiving the directive from the Ministry of Public Security, the unit mobilized officers and soldiers to provide many days of labor support, assisting members in the process of building and repairing their houses.
The comrade affirmed that the demolition of temporary and dilapidated houses for members not only demonstrates the affection and gratitude of the police force towards previous generations of officers, but also contributes to poverty reduction efforts in the locality. The Deputy Director of the Provincial Police expressed his hope that the local government would continue to pay more attention to and support members with difficult economic circumstances, helping them to improve their lives and ensuring that no one is left behind.
